Senior Brand Marketing Manager

We’ re working with a global professional services firm who are seeking an experienced Senior Brand Marketer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an organisation that have invested heavily in marketing and who fully understand the need for forward thinking organisations to fully utilise all of the marketing tools available to help drive commercial activity.

The key responsibilities of this newly created role:

Strategic brand positioning & planning
Lead the definition, articulation & external communication of the strategic brand proposition & positioning. Work with global brand and local senior executive stakeholders to ensure country level message articulation is both aligned with the global brand purpose and positioning while driving increased brand performance and addressing issues in the local market. Specific deliverables will include articulating the brand promise, demonstrating the difference the firm delivers and establishing relevance to customers using an ‘outside-in’ approach.

Create and manage positioning platforms, assets and campaigns
Create and own the master-brand creative messaging architecture, platforms & strategic campaigns that will provide ‘big-tent’ coverage to segment level messaging. Drive messaging to encapsulate the brand promise, be relevant to all audiences and constituencies, and establish the rationale for various offerings. Ensure the corporate messaging brings the brand promise to life but also aligns with the product messaging. Translate brand strategy into very compelling creative ideas that can connect across different media.

Customer insights & brand measurement
You will leverage market, company, customer, and competitive insights to drive the brand strategy forward. Use research and other data to develop deep understanding of key customers & how they perceive the firm, understand what they value and why, and measure & analyse brand performance and impact.

Internal brand positioning, communication & education
Own and deliver brand education within the firm to ensure the brand promise is understood and carried in the DNA of every employee. Create emotional engagement across the leadership and employees so they will act as brand ambassadors.

Manage strategic brand investment decisions & resource allocation
Review and recommend investment choices in areas including sponsorship, marketing partnerships & paid advertising.

Operational delivery
Deliver campaigns, projects and analysis as required in a hands on manner. Manage relationships with internal and third party marketing service providers where necessary.

Key skills required:

  • A strategic perspective and ability to communicate it in writing & in person.
  • Ability to bridge thinking between customer, brand and the business perspective.
  • A brilliant communicator that can influence and win commitment at senior level.
  • Activation of brand strategy through client engagement, branding, brand advertising, sponsorship, events, pr, digital communication.
  • Experience working successfully in a multi-dimensional B2B or professional services brand.
  • Strong commercial & analytical skills. A focus on results.
  • Hands on style & ability to balance multiple projects at different stages.
