Retail and Technology (Continuous Market Research)
The Retail and Technology Division is the world's leading market researcher for tracking Point-of-Sale (POS) data in technical consumer goods and entertainment media markets.
The company receives data from retailers and resellers in more than 70 countries worldwide. The data platform compiles this data and provides retailers, manufacturers and industry leaders with comparable information at both country and international level.
The Retail and Technology division is seeking a Territory Manager for Ireland. This is an exciting, multi-faceted, opportunity for a self driven and highly motivated individual to become the face of our client in Ireland. It will serve as an excellent platform from which they can deliver valuable insight and showcase their proven networking skills.
Job Function
The Territory Manager takes full responsibility in the ROI for all aspects of the product categories measured within the panel, and ensures a high-class product and service.
The Territory Manager role is to manage international and local clients, service independent/multiple retailers, have full market and product knowledge; ensure maintenance of existing and development of new panels and products, to effectively sell and market the business group's services, thereby maximising company revenues.
Main Responsibilities
- Achievement of the revenue budget and ensuring all potential clients are identified and approached to maximise revenue potential
- Full responsibility for the panel structure, data quality and deliverables, in line with international standards and standards set by the Research Director
- Able to create good working relationships with existing panel retailers and recruit new stores to the specification provided by the Research Director
- Have full market and product knowledge on all product categories by end 2010
- Ensure high level of client servicing on panel product categories in collaboration with UK staff
- Ensure that the Company strategy is effectively implemented in ROI
- Recruitment, training, management and development of staff as and when required

The Salary for this role starts at 50-60K Car benefits.
