Logistics Sales Representative | 40k

Purpose of Role:

To sell, primary, surplus capacity space with the possibility of selling a range of services including, office space, transport, parking, co-packing and out base solutions.

Key activities

  • Identification of target SME customers
  • Generate and maintain a database of leads
  • Secure business to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Work with operational management to determine commercial parameters
  • Complete monthly reports detailing current activity and outputs, e.g. leads generated; conversion rates, etc.
  • Feedback potential leads into the wider business to maintain visibility of target areas and customers
  • Complete required contractual documentation in a timely manner
  • There is no responsibility for people in this role.

Overall goals

  • Annual sales target of €500k generated from vacant space.
  • Also required to sell other services, however this is in addition to the vacant space target.
  • Generating new leads and the conversation rate will also be key measures of this role.
  • This role will require the incumbent to develop an internal network of operational managers and development teams across the Irish business.
  • Documentation completed in line with customer expectations and internal processes and deadlines.

  • Highly effective negotiator.
  • Proven influencing skills.
  • Proven self generated sales ability.
  • Ability to work closely with the customers.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • PC literate in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Commercial literacy.
  • Numerate with attention to detail.
  • 3 years experience of self generated selling.
  • Broad understanding of the logistics business.
  • Leaving Cert level standard or equivalent.
