Business Development Manager – Financial Services  70k - 80k

Our client is a market leader in the provision of commercial information solutions for credit risk analysis, marketing services and decision analytics. As part of their growth plans they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager – New Business, to join their Sales Team to focus on the Commercial Credit Sector and across other vertical sectors.

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying new business opportunities within the Commercial Credit Sector.
• Building quality relationships
• Recommending contact strategies
• Preparing and presenting proposals
• Selling across verticals – Business, Consumer and Marketing products
• Securing profitable new business

There will be an emphasis on enhancing revenue streams both tactically and strategically as well as adding value to client’s business by recommending integrated solutions, including opportunities for the cross selling of other  products and services.

The successful applicant will be able to identify and define prospective client solutions and have experience of contributing to complex proposals and product specifications. Experience in the Commercial Credit market is desirable, but not essential. They will be capable of demonstrating a clear track record of achievement in solutions sales and account management/development within complex, high value clients. Experience of successful complex delivery of solutions would also be an advantage.

Commercial awareness is vital, as is knowledge of financial products and services.
