Our client, Samsung Electronics, is the number one consumer electronics brand in the world; the mobile division is recruiting a Supply Chain Executive to support the company's ambitious plans and rapid growth within the Irish market.

This role will be focusing on all elements of supply chain management and CPFR, supporting the mobile business to optimize sales.

 

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

 

  • Achieving company's volume and value targets.
  • Achieving KPI targets i.e.: forecast accuracy (not less than 70% accuracy on customer and management forecast measured in 8 weeks time period), out of stock, slow movers and obsoletes/ageing stock.
  • Inputting forecasts onto the system and ensuring the product flow is as requested/ existing and new product forecasting (weekly updates with Product Manager and Account Managers) input to GSCM/SAP.
  • Work with Account Managers to ensure forecasets are always in the system for as much ahead as possible (including projected customer requirements for new product launches) - 4 weeks fixed delivery schedule, 12 weeks Customer forecasts, 13-26 week Management forecast.
  • Order Management input - Ensure follow company policy on order management such as upload orders (SAP) in advance and reduce the L/T so divisions achieve targets.
  • Managing customers forecast and orders, weekly RTF management/maintain good relationship with the customers.
  • Being up to date with target and performance, active participation in sell-in process to customers/ distributors as well as forecasting.
  • Analyzing customer sales and inventory/ work with Account Managers on stock in channel updates.
  • Customer/ Distributors workshop / meetings as frequently as possible to review processes, update on new processes and maintain good relationship.
  • Weekly conference calls with customers.
  • Monitoring channel information and utilising on demand/ work with Account Managers to avoid creating unnecessary stock buffers or possible ageing stock issues.
  • Open market stock project.  Work on process to align with Product Manager / Account Managers (timings), open market stock delivery for local reworking.
  • Resolving supply issues with Head Office team / monitoring codes and product availability.
  • Active participation in internal and external meetings, sharing ideas, taking action/ lead CPFR process
  • Manage Dummy stock requirements for new launches with customers to ensure that stock is in channel prior to launch.
  • Manage extra deliveries options (work closely with Customers and NYK), be reasonable and cost effective
  • Price Protection Process. Manage claims per account ahead of price move to allow for prompt processing and settlement.
  • Work with Account Managers and Accounts Payable on tracking Customer's credit status.
  • Be up to date with what's happening on the Market in terms of products, competitors, and marketing.

 

The role is based in Dublin and the Salary is circa 28K comprehensive range of benefits.
