This role reports directly into the country manager and has responsibility for Marketing within ROI. This is an excellent opportunity to manage the brand activity of strong FMCG cereal brands.

Role Description:
Manage the Brand portfolio to achieve company volume, value, share and profit objectives. Management of all aspects of the marketing mix and ensuring brand equities are maintained throughout all activity.
Accountabilities:
- Deliver agreed market share, volumes & marketing contribution for the Brand portfolio.
- Develop a strategic marketing vision for the collective Cereal portfolio & for the core franchises.
- Ensure that each individual brand of the franchise works to achieve this goal through an appropriate strategy & plan.
- Constantly evaluate the programmes effectiveness/efficiency and adjust plans accordingly.
- Develop, manage & execute a strategic media plan in line with franchise & brand visioning goals & improve media affinity index annually.
- Manage & develop the marketing relationship ensuring seemless integration of all relevant strategies & initiatives.
- Develop & manage the relevant agencies in the following areas of activity:Advertising, Media, Consumer promotions, Research, PR and Packaging.
- Determine marketing, franchise & brand spend to deliver strategy/objectives. Manage resources within this agreed amount.
- Develop all brand related initiatives e.g. sponsorships, cause related marketing, sampling, couponing & brand specific promotional ties/nutrition events.
- Present marketing plans to sales team to motivate & enhance their performance.
- Supervise all artwork changes and communication with print manager.
- Track & report performance on monthly basis to determine effectiveness of plans & recommended changes required to hit targets.
- Develop reports, both in terms of marketing and managerial competency skills.
Essential Skills: (inc. qualifications and relevant experience):
- Degree level education or relevant professional qualifications.
- Significant marketing experience including proven experience at a Brand Manager level.
- Clear strategic thinker who can translate consumer/brand insight into marketing strategy and vision.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent operational skills demonstrated through interpersonal and teamwork abilities and the delivered final execution.
- Excellent communication skills across all functions & all levels & relevant functions within
- Good Man Management of 1 Assistant Brand Manager & potentially a shared assistant & a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop cross functional project teams.
- Preferably a recognised Blue Chip background.
- Media and ATL experience
- PC literate.
This role is based in Dublin and the Salary range is 50K basic Car Bonus VHI Pension.
