Marketing Manager - Maternity Contract

Responsible for the development and implementation of the Marketing Strategy in line with the management and business objectives of the company.

The Role:

  • Develop marketing strategy for relevant business / products areas and ensure effective execution through each of the relevant business areas.
  • Full accountability to ensure that all marketing activities are delivered in line with business objectives and within budget.
  • Develop and implement business development campaigns across applicable product and distributions channels.
  • Responsible for producing all marketing collateral as required within scope of business remit and brand guidelines.
  • Undertake competitor analysis to identify product gaps/new product opportunities/competitor initiatives etc
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing/sales promotional activity to maximise return on investment.
  • Provide ongoing marketing support to the management team, departments and project leaders as required.
  • Drive customer engagement programmes across all areas of the business.

 

Qualifications, knowledge and experience:

  • A fully qualified Marketing Professional with a minimum of 6 years Marketing Manager experience.
  • Must have Retail Financial Services marketing experience.
  • Strong communication / influencing skills.
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of Financial Services.
  • Experience in dealing with external suppliers / agencies
  • Ability to work to and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • A results driven self starter with a high level of energy, self-motivation and attention to detail.
  • Previous extensive experience in using the web/new technologies to achieve marketing objectives. Demonstrate experience in on-line and digital campaign development and roll out.
  • Experience in new product development and product management with multiple business stakeholders.  
  • Experience of developing and implementing business campaigns to facilitate customer acquisitions, both directly - through sales force, website and advertising media and indirectly through intermediary / introducer distribution channels.
