Our client is an ambitious and growing corporate law firm who have had a dedicated marketing function for a number of years. They are seeking to fill the position of Marketing and Communications Manager.
The firm seeks to appoint an experienced individual to lead its marketing, communications and business development strategy.
The candidate will be an effective and confident communicator and influencer, with excellent organisational skills.
A background / understanding of a legal environment would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
The role is offered on a two year contract basis.
The Position: The Marketing and Communications Manager will:
- Work in association with the firm's partners to achieve organisation wide and practice unit objectives;
- Implement a marketing plan which is refined and developed with market in mind;
- Manage and monitor the business tender process and coordination of inputs while working with stakeholders;
- Drive business development strategy throughout the organisation through regular meetings with each practice unit and analysis through the firm's existing CRM system;
- Be responsible for development and ongoing management of the website and intranet;
- Promote and develop the customer relationship management database;
- Manage e-marketing campaigns;
- Lead social media strategy through ownership of our social networking accounts;
- Communications and media relations, to include:
- Development and issuing of press releases
- Management and preparation of all ezines
- Liaising with graphic designer/printers
- Proactively review and update internal and external marketing content including fee earner profiles etc.
- Management legal directory submissions - Chambers, Legal 500, Which Lawyer etc;
- Management of events, including seminars and corporate entertainment;
- Preparation and presentation of reports and research to include CRM reports and analysis of marketing activity;
- Seek to develop a clear understanding of the types of legal work undertaken by each of the business units;
- Conceive, develop and implement their own marketing initiatives on a pro-active basis.
Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will be a self-motivated graduate with a proven track record of delivery in a professional services environment.
Candidates should have:
- Outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability in drafting written communications to include tender documentation, press briefings,
- Significant online experience including web, social media and e-marketing
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office; Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- A relevant third-level degree in marketing
- At least 2-4 years experience in marketing or public relations in a professional services environment.
This role is based in Dublin and the Salary is 55-65K benefits.
