Reporting to; Marketing Function
Contract; offered initially as 9 month contract
Our client, a leading financial services player, is looking to recruit a Customer & Market Analyst to join their marketing department on a 9 month initial contract. The successful candidate will be the voice of the customer across the company by storyboarding the retail customer experience. The successful candidate will work to promote a customer orientated culture within the business.
Key Requirements;
- Understand the objectives of each Retail Customer proposition in order to measure customer experience against them.
- Identify and understand the various sources and types of data that give a real insight into customer experience.
- Support a customer centric culture aligned to the brand values through the wider communication of the data and analysis.
- Analyse customer services / experience metrics at all levels across the company and identify underlying trends that require attention.
- Identify and plan ongoing initiatives in capturing customer feedback (including customer surveys).
- Analysing and interpreting customer feedback to identify and recommend change and development required in processes, systems, communications, distribution, products, service etc to improve the customer experience.
- Analysing customer activity (e.g. Online activity, IVR, email, hard-copy post) to determine opportunities in improving customer experience.
- Conduct ad hoc market research as required by stakeholders / business areas.
- Work closely with the business and IT teams in designing, improving and enhancing customer data capture and cleansing.
- Develop a customer segmentation model to inform cross sale campaigns and work with key stakeholders (e.g. Marketing) on potential strategies.
The Candidate;
- 4 years experience in Market Research, Data Analysis, and reporting system development.
- Significant demonstrable experience in consumer insight and planning within Financial Services , Telecommunications companies or with a leading Market Research Agency
- Proven experience within a data analysis, interrogation and reporting role
- Experience in identifying insights across large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data
- Performed a Customer Experience / Operations team role a strong advantage
- Excellent SQL skills query capability and implementation for reporting systems.
- Proven problem definition and problem solving skills coupled with structured thinking and strong analytical abilities.
- Strong analytical abilities
- Experience in data modelling / tools
