Our client is one of Ireland's leading Accountancy and Business Advising firms. The firm offers a comprehensive range of Accounting and Business Consultancy services to clients.
They are currently seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing professional to manage and lead their Marketing and Business Development efforts. Using various techniques such as; assessments of marketing opportunities and target markets, intelligence gathering on customers and competitors, generating leads for possible sales, follow-up sales activity, formal proposal writing and business plan design, this position will have a direct impact on the development and growth of the firm.
Heading up the division the Sales & Marketing Manager will work with the both the marketing and management team to achieve the specific business development and growth objectives sought by the firm. The responsibilities include:
- With the Marketing Partner, agree the firm wide marketing strategy;
- Devise a specific annual marketing action plan to achieve agreed strategy;
- Cascade to departments through departmental marketing plans;
- Agree the annual budget to achieve objectives of marketing plans and monitoring of same;
- Implementation and achievement of objectives outlined in action plans;
- Measure progress by implementing tracking systems to ensure targets are met and team leaders apply the strategies and actions in their own departments;
- On going review of the firm's marketing needs and adapting strategy/plans to address same;
- Presentation/reporting of all the above to the firm's Management Team and progress updates as required;
- Through devising strategic and practical PR initiatives, increase the firms profile in specific market sectors;
- Ensure staff are trained in marketing, selling, client care and presentation skills;
- Undertake e-marketing initiatives;
- Management and overseeing administration of the firm's website;
- Overseeing the publishing of newsletters, tenders, pitches, presentations etc to ensure all Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon documents, presentations are in line with the firm's branding and marketing criteria;
- Management of the marketing database;
- Be aware of and responsive to economic trends, government policies and other external factors that will impact on the growth of the firms clients and impact the firm;
- Working with the departments, identify possible new markets by conducting extensive research of new opportunities, address likely sales points, develop strategic plans and sales strategies;
- Adopt a team approach and work with others in pursing common goals including the achievement of departmental financial KPI's i.e. sales.
The successful candidate will be an ambitious and confident self-starter seeking a fresh challenge with a progressive firm. He/she will ideally posses the following skills and qualifications:
- 4-6 years relevant experience within a professional services or financial services firm;
- Proven business development success;
- E-marketing and copywriting experience;
- Practice in successfully managing PR campaigns;
- Ability to deliver training - classroom and on the job;
- Good sales and negotiation skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong leadership skills.
This role is based in Dublin and the Salary is between 50-70k depending on experience
