Our client is a leading brand in the entertainment and technology space. They are seeking to recruit an experienced Channel Manager to spearhead their sales strategy across the retail area in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales through retail channels as well as developing the strategic business plan into the future.
Specific Responsibilities
- Working with an existing Business Development Manager to develop and implement a strategy for increasing volume and performance through Retail Stores.
- Development of a strategy to increase sales volumes and improve KPI performance in partner retailer business.
- Build a strategic plan to create a team of Sales Advisors and Regional Managers across Retail stores throughout Ireland.
- To set and deliver against sales targets, where necessary suggesting strategy for increasing volumes as required.
- To work with the Marketing and Operations teams on specific projects that will increase the effectiveness of the Retail channels.
Experience and key attributes
- Educated to degree level.
- Budget & forecasting experience.
- Proven track record in delivering sales and managing quality of customers.
- Experienced in developing business models and presenting at senior level.
- Creative planning on other methods of generating incremental volume.
- Field sales and negotiation skills are essential.
- Good communicator and presenter at a senior level with experience working through complex business models.
- Ability to manage and motivate team to get the most out of individuals and the team as a whole.
- Ability to set and control sales targets.
- Ability to be flexible and change to meet the many requirements of the company.
