Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company and is seeking an experienced Brand Manager for their Dublin operation.
The ideal candidate should have:

a minimum of 2 years brand management experience; however candidates with a strong sales representative background who have demonstrated single handed management of key projects or who have been responsible for the sole management and completion of significant initiatives will also be considered.

Person must display excellent organizational/project management skills and must have a proven track record of working on one's own initiative.

Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to manage relationships and the ability to lead an internal cross-functional team.

Excellent attention to detail, passion, drive, enthusiasm and interpersonal skills essential, as is a proven ability to influence others both within the organisation and external to it.

Must demonstrate a proven record of success as a team player and demonstrate a strong analytical and strategic track record.

Must display strong commercial/business focus and industry knowledge.
Develop and deliver 2010-2012 strategic plans for Product set:
- Completion of Strategic Brand Planning process for assigned brands.
- Drive regular and clear communication of strategy for assigned brands to extended multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead cross functional team for Neurology/Psychiatry brands
Implement the 2009 operational plans for Products:
- Timely completion and execution of tactical plans and key initiatives
- Feedback and interaction with extended cross functional team members and sales force
Develop a deep and insightful understanding of customers and patients and use these insights to inform brand and customer strategy:
- Evidence of customer insight generation and ongoing validation
- Application of customer insight to brand and customer strategy
Achieve excellent alignment between Marketing and Sales:
- Delivery of salesforce engagement plan for Products
- Feedback and interaction with sales force, including salesforce engagement survey results
Segment the customer universe for Products using relevant criteria, and tailor activity to different target groups:
- HCP targeting and segmentation programme in place for Neurology/Psychiatry brands (in coordination with sales team)
- Delivery of key customer strategy that is linked to the sales forecast
- Marketing activity aligned with different target customer groups
Develop and deliver engagement plans for both Products:
- Segmentation of Key influencers audience, and delivery of head office contact with identified targets, to ensure close business relationship
Effectively manage promotional spend as agreed and in line with promotional mix to maximise ROI:
- Plan of expenditure for year.
- Track expenditure on monthly basic.
- Evaluate all expenditure for ROI.
Monitor brand performance using available data and initiate new techniques/data to better assess overall business performance:
- Monthly monitoring to of brand performance
- Identification of additional /superior performance trackers - e.g. market research.
Proactively/constantly seek opportunities to develop and drive business through innovative marketing tactics that are aligned with the brand strategies:
- Proposals, campaigns, activities targeting new opportunities
To ensure that all promotional activity and advertising is in compliance with the company Code of Conduct the IPHA Code and the internal approval system:
- Copy procedure adhered to for all materials
- No complaints to be received on activities/materials
This role is based in Dublin and the Salary is 50K 10% bonus car allowance benefits.
